Buffalo Stars U18 MOHL finds success in Cleveland

The Buffalo Stars U18 team participated in the Three Rivers Cup tournament in Pittsburgh over the Presidents day weekend. They faced four other teams from the NY/PA area to become victorious and enter the championship game in first place with a 3-0-1 record earning 7 out of 8 potential points.
Coming back from a two goal deficit, the Buffalo Stars went on to beat the Corning Hurricanes 5-3 and bring home the the championship. This is their second tournament championship this season, winning in the Rock and Roll Cup in Cleveland back in October. Team Captains Jaret Pawarski, Nick Maly and Tyler Hoeflich accepted the trophy in honor of the team. Center Jaret Pawarski was named tournament MVP.

Congratulations to the players and coaches in their victory. The Stars will move on to the league play offs and hope to keep their winning streak going.
